TODD TERRY is back
From Brooklyn to the global stage, Todd Terry has shaped the sound of house music for over three decades. The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer fused the raw rhythms of New York’s underground with the energy of European dance records, creating a sound that defined a generation. His early breakthrough came in 1988, when the UK and Europe embraced his Todd Terry Project hits “Weekend” and “Bango (To the Batmobile)”, setting the stage for his rise as one of electronic music’s true pioneers.
Known for his countless aliases, including Black Riot (“A Day in the Life”), Gypsymen (“Hear the Music”), and Royal House (“Can You Party”), Todd Terry built a legacy of timeless anthems that became cornerstones of club culture. His remix work for global superstars like George Michael, Björk, Janet Jackson, and Tina Turner showcased his unmatched versatility and creative touch.
Terry’s hits “Keep On Jumpin’” and “Somethin’ Going On,” featuring Martha Wash and Jocelyn Brown, stormed the UK charts and dominated dance floors worldwide. As house music exploded in the early ’90s, he became a leading figure in the movement, earning a coveted residency at London’s Ministry of Sound and recognition from the dance community as “Todd the God.”
In 2007, he reunited with Kenny Dope, DJ Sneak, and Terry Hunter as the Todd Terry All Stars, releasing the club hit “Get Down” on Strictly Rhythm. Today, Todd Terry remains a true pioneer and icon of house music. His name is synonymous with the genre’s evolution — from its underground roots to its global dominance. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, “Todd the God” continues to inspire new generations of DJs, producers, and fans around the world.
In 2025, Todd Terry returns to the spotlight, bringing his unique, timeless house sound to Armania Phuket on 19 December. Fans can expect a masterclass in groove and energy as one of the world’s most respected DJs takes over the decks for a night of pure, uplifting house music.
